The developer in an earlier blog post confirmed the upgrade to FSR 2.2 is expected to happen "closer to September 6", the date when the game is set to launch on PlayStation 5.
What version of the CyberFSR are you using? I don't get blurry HUD elements but I get blurry game overall. Specially when there moving foliage or the character in idle animation. I get this waving noise that is really annoying.
Unless magically core logic starts scaling/threading better, only option to anyhow improve it would be DLSS 3 Frame Generation or FSR3 which specifically target CPU bottlenecks.
And yet for some reason they decided to not include FG and go for FSR2 instead of 3.
And I am sure that they have much more important things to do than FSR 2.x at this moment.
The game is CPU limited, so FSR 2.x does not make graphic faster... well FSR and FSR 1.0 are about as fast in anyway. The FSR2.x would make the game look better compared to FSR1.0 but when the game is CPU limited, it is better to not use FSR at all in this game to get the same speed and better image quality... So... FSR 2.x = useless in this game, unless your GPU is potato. I have 5700XT and am still more bottle necked by CPU (I have 5800x3d that is really fast in this game) that by GPU...
I tried the FSR 2.0 mod on my 1080ti and it does help, in act 3 I went from 35fps on average to 55fps, which was great because 35fps average mean't I sink to 20fps constantly. The issue with the mod is it needs the Vulkan API so loading was slower, and then the mod kept crashing my game. FSR 1 doesn't really help and looks like Vaseline. So a official patch with FSR 2.x would be super nice. I wish I didn't have a 1440p monitor since it makes 1080p also look like vasoline and lowering settings doesn't really help much and after 100 hours is hard to look at.
