This delay is a major disappointment for Mac users. We have been waiting patiently for the full release of Baldur's Gate III, and we are now being told that we will have to wait even longer.

I used to be a MAC guy and I really liked my Mac, but decided gaming was actually important to me so I switched to PC. You can’t expect to have a good gaming experience when you don’t buy a gaming PC.

I have a Mac and a PC. let me just add a couple of points. 1 do people game on mac, yes some do. is it as big as the PC crowd? not even close. 2. they have to do some extra work to get it on a Mac. i can see the business decision to get it working on PC first and it is a smart one.
I would love to be playing it on my Mac as well, but know i just have to wait. I consider it lucky that it will come to Mac. very few games usually make it there due to the small population of gamers and the extra work.

I was not aware MAC users can only play the early access version when I purchased it from Steam as it says MAC is supported. Then when I was expecting the Mac version coming on the 6th, nothing happened and even no official accounonements. I'm disappointed.

I think its crazy to see there are so manny replies to this talking about how pc is beter than mac. Like who the hell cares its just a different type of computer , its like how the kids troll over ps5 and xbox like grow up it shows your maturity level harshly, and if you did one of those reply comments and you are over the age of 30 that sucks for you 😛 håhåhå

But fr im outraged by the lack of communication for macos its starting to feel like im forgotton and that i wasted my money i would not be upset if they told us before or hand that there was a delay i understand that there trying to perfect it love that but i dont love bing keeped in the dark i fell like my money didnt mean any thing

yea its a good game but regardless if the full version of the games not out to mac by say sep 15 then ill be on the queue to get my money back i did not spend $60 to level cap at 5 and play the same stuff over and over again with no expectations on geting the full version

Rather than complaining on the forums, refund the game! Tell Steam exactly WHY you're refunding and MOVE ON.

If you want to game regularly, don't use a mac. It's really simple stuff.

If you need macOS for something, look into Virtual Machines and stop paying apple for overpriced paperweights.

Larian should really clarify and make a statement about the situation though, this I agree on, they shouldn't be selling a product they can't deliver. (Actually I think this might actually be against steams terms of services and just illegal in general depending on where you live.)

Many of us have professional lives preventing us from daily driving a POS operating system like windows, and we game as a side hobby.

By the way, the newer macs with apple silicon are absolutely slaughtering these natively compiled games...i get 120FPS on ultra settings at 1440p and i don't even hear the fan kick in. At the end of the day, Larian marketed the game for macs, and told us to buy it for a sept 6th release, so it's within our right to demand some minimal communication at least.
