I've sided with the Goblins twice now. On the first occasion, I killed Kagha and the druids and Rath and Zevlor lived. I also didn't steal the idol. Come the time of the raid, everthing went well and did it with no issue. I.e no bugs.
This time around I stole the idol and it started the big fght between the druids and Tieflings. Just about everyone of note died, including Zevlor and Rath. Come the time of the raid there was only a handful of Tieflings left so it was super quick and easy. Minthara keeps screaming there's more but I've searched every single nook and cranny and there is 100% no one left.
Been doing some research and sounds like it's been an issue even back in Beta. Surprised it isn't fixed yet!
Loaded up to the point where I meet Halsin since it wasn't too far back for me. Killed him rather than rescued him and went to the grove. Started the raid, same result. Minthara still screams there's more to kill even though there isn't.
One thing I noticed though is Lakrissa is at the top of the gate before I start the raid then disappears when it starts. So I thought maybe she was somehow glitching it out. So I opted to kill her first, thus having the other Tieflings attack me (and Wyll left). The raid proceeded as normal and still no luck!
I thought of some more variables in comparison to my previous run, one of which is when I raided the grove in my other playthrough Wyll wasn't in my party. So I tried sending him back to camp prior to the raid this time and once again same issue.
Finally, the only other variable I can think of is I did all the side quests in the area before doing the raid on my last playthrough and didn't finish them beforehand on this run. Not sure how that would effect the raid but who knows. At this point it seems unfortunately I'll have to either wait for a patch, kill Minthara too (found out the story still progresses if you kill all the goblins and Minthara during the raid too), or start yet another run and avoid this altogether and side with the Tieflings.
Raid worked fine when:
Zevlor was alive.
Rath was alive.
Did all sidequests before doing the raid.
Raid glitched out when:
Zevlor was dead prior.
Rath was dead prior,
Did not do all the sidequests prior to the raid.
Not sure why any of those would effect the raid, but as far as I can tell between my two playthroughs those are the only differences in regards to the raid.
