evil ending is the worst (spoilers)
so i just finish an evil run (100 hours) 2nd playthrough.

the ending is like,,,
i stab Orpheus , sit on a throne ..
i small cutscene show some mindflayer fly to the brain.
fade to black... credit roll , no after credit cutscene.

leazel is like "what are u doing" (cuz i killed orpheus) after that they showing her cheering for our victory.

wtf was that ? no companion talk, no what happened after . nothing.
this is probably the worst ending in a video game i ever did.

Edit:
btw , if u think about thinking doing evil run. take some notes.
cons:
u will recruit minthara but it will cost u Karlach, Wyll, Halsin, Jahira , Minsc. with option to lose Gale as well.
ur game will be much shorter , cuz less talking.
less quests.

pros:
the evil thing are really evil , so be ready for it.
some evil deeds are really fun. specially for dark urge.
u dont have to speak with everyone cuz u know u going to kill them all anyway.
some companion evil route are well done with nice reward.

youll quickly realize that there are no good endings in this game...its never explicitly stated whether the emperor is good or bad so whether you betray him or go with him does not make you good or bad and the endings reflect that. it's all up in the air. for all we know your ending was the 'good guy' ending.

I think you missed the flash of their eyes turning purple to show they're now essentially your sock puppets. They're cheering because of your complete mind control making them cheer.
Seems like the bad ending you would expect from playing evil.

When you become the Absolute, it literally means that. Absolute.
