Quick question about multi-classing and spell slots
I put 4 points in Wizard and then 1 point into Sorcerer, yet when I multi-classed into Sorcerer it gave me access to (unlocked) level III spells. I was wondering how this works. Is it possible to still gain access to level VI spells, even when multi-classing from Wizard to other classes?

Spell slots are tied to how many caster levels you take

The spells you learn is tied to the levels of the class you take.

Also mixing a Charisma caster with an intelligent caster is not good unless you go for some very specific build

No idea TBH. My Sorcerer 5 / Bard 1 somehow had three level 3 slots and one level 4 slot, even though he just learned one level 3 spell when reaching level 5.

Any level tables that I know grant Sorcerer only 2 level 3 spells when he reaches 5th level of experience: https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Sorcerer

in 5e tabletop, mixing wizard and warlock is actually a good thing as they can cast either's spells with the other's spell slots, although i doubt they put that in the game

Not really unless we are talking about Warlock spell slots which recharge on a short rest, all spell slots are the same.

Mixing an Intelligence Caster with Charisma Caster doesn't negatively impact the amount of spell slots you get but you know have to pump two attributes.

Because your spells from the socerer scale with charisma and your wizard spells scale with Intelligence.

See my first post.

You have five levels in Socerer and one level in bard.

Both classes are considered full casters

Therefore you are considered a level six spell caster which grants you the appropriate amount of slots.
