Magic Missiles and Scrying Eyes?

Am I crazy or were scyring eyes able to be targeted with magic missiles before? I feel like this is a bug because attacking outside of conflict with an arrow doesn't even work for me now. I've had to do attacks like ice blast and lightning that have a range of environmental damage upon impact. Anyone else have this issue?
