My furry friend, lmao if you must, but don't pretend to deny the truth of my words. BG3 reigns supreme. For now, gaming has peaked.
But the one game I spend the most time and will always be the king of all games was WoW.
Still, Baldur’s gate 3 is right there with The Witcher 3, Fallout New Vegas and Skyrim for me
BTW, you see people talking this way in most game forums.
Not a single -information-, just "oh it is nice".
Like, it is artistically good why ? For the many instances in which people look like they are high in bath salts because the systems cant keep the eye track correctly ? Or the many times in which characters seem to be stoking because the mouth has nothing to say so they put a expression that would be for the emotion, but doesnt quite resemble it.
You can see that by looing the very poster as background of this game at the right side here.
Laezel does not seem to be raging, or going "strike true", or even sneaking attack. Most of her face looks "just checking it out", and her mouth seems to be just "the dentist asked be to show how my teeth locks or not when I clench the jaw".
Mechanically ? You mean the camera people complain about, or the clunk movement when you need to step up objects or jump over them ? Or the game mechanics that use random where they should not, and the lack of ability checks for certain classes when they should even be the best suited to check them (like druids or clerics not being able to use wisdom checks in moments which wisdom should be the thing to check).
I like the game, but I like the game as what it is. It is more like the joy of watching "Sharkinado" for Island movie than watching "Shutter Island" for example. Meaning, it is a game to shut down the critical brain, and play along, have fun, and MAYBE turn the brain on a bit for combat, if you want to, but if not, sure you can manage too.
You are wrong, but that's ok. We're all on a journey to enlightenment, and some people just have a longer way to go.
Name a game you'd argue is a better PC game than BG3.
But on the rest of aspects...
-Dragon age origins still for me has the title of best game with different origins and companions.
-Pathfinder wrath of the righteous has more comedy and feels better as a power fantasy.
-Fallout: new vegas will always be a game of great freedom over the storyline.
So yeah, gonna disagree with the title of best game for PC, I have a special love for dragon age origins and fallout: new vegas for that title.
I have all the standards, and BG3 reigns supreme.
Nothing new and innovative, the push is offset by the bugs and performance issues in Act 2 and 3.
Phenomenal voice acting and animations though...
Definitely good though
