Find Familiar: Quasit

I've picked up the scroll in Act 3 in an unfriendly lamp environment - I missed it in act 1 on this run.
I've passed the thing on to gale and let him learn the thing - but I don't see the spell. Anywhere. I can't prepare or cast it - even though it is supposedly learned successfully.

Does anybody know if it the spell is broken somehow?

Yeah I had the same issue. I learned the spell and it just disappeared from my inventory. Another bug I suppose.

Shame then - fwiw, you can cast mage hand, try and move the lamp with it and it will work as well to ... deal with the lamp situation...

If you're talking about Shovel it's a different spell than Summon Familiar. It has the same coloring, but the icon is that of a Quasit. Believe the spell's name is "Summon Cheeky Quasit."

If you're talking about Shovel it's a different spell than Summon Familiar. It has the same coloring, but the icon is that of a Quasit. Believe the spell's name is "Summon Cheeky Quasit."

Yeah, I thought it would be another scroll allowing you to summon Shovel found in act 3. I made my peace with missing out on it in act 1 - and clearly the puzzle with the lamp is designed such that you summon a familiar to touch the lamp - but alas... bugs still plague this game a lot...

Nah just touch it your self and then summon a creature to take you place - I used the dog, and then dismissed him
