the well stopped working

there is a well next to the riverside tea house that gives 10 extra hp until the next long rest, i needed a long rest but now when i drink from the well nothing happens, was there a max number of time i could use it or is it a bug and if it is a bug, what do i do?

My 3 companions can get it but I can't. for 3 straight long rests now. It isn't a veil thing because we discovered the illusion as soon as we stepped foot in the swamp, then killed the hag and used the well the first time afterwards. Been coming back every day even through act 2. It's still a good buff for 3 of the 4 of us.

One use per... then of course they get sick as dogs (nauseated status) after that long rest...
