Baldur's Gate 3 issue with Xbox 360 controller

Hello everyone, i'm having some problems when i want to play BG3 with a X360 controller, when i push A or START buttom, the game take that information like a new player starting with a new character. It is very annoying. IDK. Anyways, if someone else have the same problem or any solution is completly welcome to share with me
