As i say there's "easier" cheeses. This one was just the most satisfying after the big skele's kicked Shadowheart off the cliff 3 times lol.
Ghoul medics are push overs and his flesh golem is basically useless if you set it on fire first turn.
Balthaazar will try and fall back into a corner in the back of his chambers against a wall and you can just pin him there so he cannot move.
This is my first playthrough ever, i didnt know i could fight Balth prior to this until after i killed him.
But next time i think i'll be fighting him in his quatres instead of in the nightsong arena. Everyone says its WAY easier.
Open the fight with my monk stun strike, Nuke the golem so golem dies turn 1 while Balthazar is stunned , then stun him again next turn while killing the zombies then finish Balthazar turn 3 without anyone taking any damage
1. Close the doors (just in case, but I'm glad to know it actually helped)
2. Level 7
3. Adamantine weapons ("Examine" before engaging anything is a must)
4. Just yeet the damage on him. Bae'zel + action surge + GWM more than halved his HP and the rest just spells, Shadowheart's guding bolt almost downed him and Wyll's blast did the final trick.
I didn't even have to make a move on my MC - I mean, I did, compel a duel with the golem rendering him useless. Although I had to reload two times to make sure my party rolled ini first.
This strat took 3 or 4 turns in total. Kinda hard to deal any more damage than i did in those turns with how it plays out unless you're out-gearing the encounter. My party was also level 6. Not 7.
Even with THIS strat thats not possible brother. What are you talking about?
This strat IS 3-4 turns.
And theres no flesh golem. Nightsong arena cheese.
People are commenting about how Easy it was to do the EASIEST version of the fight.
Its Nightsong arena boys. Not his bed chambers. There is no flesh golem.
