Disguise Self for everyone!
Lots or changes from 5e of course, for good or ill, and I have only dabbled in tabletop dnd and 5e in particular so I'm not that knowledgeable. But I don't think disguise self is a ritual spell in 5e but it is in bg3, and now since everyone can use ritual spells as rituals (which are instant too) it makes the spell super easy and common to have at all times for a bunch of classes.

One cool thing warlocks can do is have disguise self as an invocation to cast free and as often as they want, and now that unique ability is pretty moot since wizards and clerics and a bunch of others can do the exact same. Wouldn't be so bad if you had to rest to change your prepared spells but in bg3 you can change then out of combat whenever you like.

A nitpick, and I'm sure there's plenty others have, but I would have liked the idea of being a sly trickster warlock.

You can't really do anything interesting with disguise self so it rarely matters. I can only think of the one situation with the petrified drow where it makes a meaningful difference. Other than that, its just a pre req for speak with dead

Ot there are weapons or armors that have some advantages if you are a specific race.
