[spoiler] Free the Artist reward, reward - bug or joke?

So after he is done criticizing your outfit, commenting on the blood stains etc.
I put on my 'sunday best' to pose for a portrait.

He paints it "oh I never forget a face".

Shadowheart goes "He really captured your essence."

Inspecting the painting in the inventory it's just a silluette.

I figure I'll go hang the painting on a wall at the Inn, well except ofcourse it appears to be the special floor mounted sort of painting.

And this is where the joke/bug comes in to play.

Soo uhm, bug? or is it just Larian making fun of the player? - it's quite clearly her party portrait, so it could be dynamically created like the statue.

How ever it *was* my character talking to him

I got a picture of Karlach my first time. Second time I played through I got a picture of my half-orc but when I went to camp to put it by my statue it turned into a picture of Gale.

Mine bugged too; I tried to get it to be a portrait of Astarion, but when I drop it on the ground it is Shadowheart... :C

Seems to give you a random party members portrait, I had to reload a few times to get it to work.

Ah so it's just a bug, thought it might always be your romantic partner (because of the captured your essence comment)
Oh well

I saved before getting the portrait done and reloaded over and over until I got who I wanted. It's random.
