Marry Orin and recruit her as companion? (Evil Playthrough)
Since this game has so few evil companions, and given that its already broken sibling incest taboos via the drow brother-sister brothel couple - why wasn't this an evil path route / option, especially when playing as playing Dark Urge?

You should able to:

1) defeat Orin

2) spare her and force her to "marry" you (whatever version of it Bhaal worshippers do) - she might even be open to it herself since she herself was a child of incest.

3) recruit her into the party and then continue to the end game

Even in DA:O you were able to recruit the one of the "villains" you were initially fighting against as a companion.

Man, those twins are really living rent free in your head.
I only like her grandfather
let us recruit her grandfather

She would absolutely skin you and hang your innards around the room the first night of the honeymoon.

Yeah, but did you read the books/lore in her bedroom? It seemed to me like she just needed a good smack, shoulda bent her down and got a good pounding from the brother (Dark Urge) and it would have avoided all the pent up sexual tension that led her astray

Orin has to be the closest to the classical characterization of chaotic evil in the game. She just isn't suited to be a companion and would slit a knife in your back any moment. If you met Gortash before he became Duke, then I could see a good argument for why he could become a companion.

why do we have few evil ones?
shadowheart follows shar, shar is evil.
astarion is a vampire.
gale is a living bomb and wants the nethercrown.
minthara is a drow.
wyll is a devil pactician (u can pact with good creatures too so pact with a devil is evil.)
lyzael is a member of an evil slaver warrior race.
i think 6 voiced ones are enough and hirelings are an option too.

sure, would be cool, choose between marrying her OR kill her then optionally recruit sarevok, especially if we can get together and kill jaheria/minsc.

I love my women crazy. But no. Not that crazy. No matter how evil my 'roleplay'.

There can be only one Baalspawn left in the end. You could marry her. But in the end, killing her or being killed by her is the only option.

That mush brain doesnt have a single interesting line of dialogue and would make a terrible companion.

Tell me a single line of hers that made you stop for a moment and think 'man Orin is a deep character"

She is a deranged 1 trick pony with retarded dialogue

You would still be the chosen bhaalspawn after defeating her, they could just do a deus ex machina where Withers comes and you ask him to resurrect her (like he resurrects Dark Urge after Bhaal kills him )

they could have written her a bit better, but is Minthara any better?

Yes, without spoiling too much, after a certain point in the game, she changes her entire point of views on certain things.

Orin never does, she has rejected Harley Quinn dialogue through the entire game

dont get me wrong btw, i would be down for deeper Orin writing anytime, but as she is now, just shallow and boring

interesting, need to do a playthrough with minthara. i hope she actually has some sorta deep back story that's worth killing the tieflings for.

Bhaal's doctrine is pretty clear and concise. Why do people need evil people to have redemption arc? They are born evil, they will die evil like some real life people. Orin is a demented Bhaalspawn that just wants to murder as many as she can.
