That has never been a thing in DnD or Forgottn Realms so you might wanna cut back on the hyperbole, because I don't think anyone has ever said anything of the sort.
People like you is why any discussion turns into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
When women are drafted into the army for mandatory military service like men are in my country, I might care about "muh equality"
But as long as it's a one-way street, I don't give the faintest of ♥♥♥♥♥.
And this is a factual statement in 2023. Modern day feminism is just forcing girls into taking the roles of men, whether or not they qualify for it or even want it. You should see the shame the internet brings to happily married women who stay home to raise children
At least there's that one tiefling girl that dreams of a happily ever after with her husband when she reaches Baldurs Gate. Bex I think her name is. She also has the softest and most feminine features of probably any character in game, and she's part demon
She has an accident during the shadowlands...
Aerie is so feminine and girly your warriors want to throw her off a cliff to see if her stumped wings still work. Imoen is extremely girly in BG1, full of spunk and optimism - turned to dread and dreary clingy-type after her captivity experience in BG2. Nalia is a mage girl who goes to the copper coronet to beg for a MALE WARRIOR to fight to protect her home and her lands, and will even marry you (male warrior) to prevent her lands from being lordless and conquered
I found her at last light inn crying about her husband, but I haven't "rescued" him yet. I have no expectation to see her alive and well when I reach the city
How telling that you left out Jaheira, Viconia, Dynaheir and Mazzy.
Try again, with less fail.
"That has never been a thing in DnD or Forgottn Realms so you might wanna cut back on the hyperbole" - you, about 30 minutes ago
Never, except for those 3 examples off the top of my head? Probably a ton of others I'm not even aware of.
/rolleyes
There has never been a specific way women are portrayed in Forgotten Realms. How the ♥♥♥♥ did you manage to miss the blindingly obvious point?
Afaik the only specific about women in Forgotten Realms is the description related to their race, class, deity and such. Like you don't describe Drow female as Suzy Homemaker -)
How characters is portrayed else come down to narrative and story.
Yes, women have been adventurers and warriors and stuff since 1st edition.
If it was a meaningless term you wouldn't be talking about it, hypocrite.
