Circle of the land, bit bland
I know 5e is very basic but wish circle of the land had more flavour, Perhaps a way to use your wild shape to enhance your spells as a resource like how spore does for health. I know in PNP you use your wild shape more for out of combat but in this there really isnt much use other than the little holes for for jumping/stealth and only really used in lower levels but with resting so prevalent and later levels not as good unless you are moon. Would love for more theme so you went coast you would have water spells etc. You just essentially just summon spam and use subpar dps spells. Wish perhaps each circle offered different experience even if just to change the theme of spells(I know spells like whirlpool etc are missing). Perhaps forrest focused on summoning animals or underdark earth shaping/underdark summons or swamp poisons etc. At the moment its very bland.

Land is actually my favorite Druid Subclass in 5e and in BG3. I like having more spells per day and getting spells druid otherwise doesn't get access to like Misty step, web or haste.

And you can still use wildshape. The Spider is really strong, as is the Owlbear. The only difference is Moon's wildshape overcomes non-magical resistance while Land can't. But that's not that big of a deal when you're similar in spell diversity and power as a Wizard.

Also, the term is DPR. Damage per round. DPS is Damage per second. And Druid isn't a striker. I wouldn't expect them to be doing 300 damage a round like some builds can get. But truthfully, they can do that much damage a round. Thornwall, Cloud Kill, Spikegrowth, wall of fire, all of these aoe spells can and often do kill more enemies in a fight than the party striker.

My Druid Won me more fights they were in than not. Both a support and control. During my Tactician Fight against Cazador, my druid put in some serious work. Thornwall, Spike growth, Plantgrowth, Daylight were all up at once. Most enemies who didn't die to the Thornwall died in the spikegrowth. Plus I had my warlock with Repelling blast send them straight back into both hazards. The Druid Was doing hundreds of damage a round thanks to how much she covered the arena in hazards.

RIght now the 3 choices of druid function as different pillars of what a druid is good at. Moon is all about shapechanging. Spores is all about summoning an army. And Land is all about spell casting. Spores druid can cast more spells than any other druid subclass and has more spell variety. That's its theme.

Maybe spells are boring to you but to me spells are pretty awesome. I just wish Land druid's unique armor was as good and interesting as spore's and moon's.

No the spells are what I want, As the "wizard" version circle of the land I want it to be alittle deeper than what it is, I know they focus more on control its just I want more theme. like I mentioned you are essentially a summon bot. I know 5e lacks alot of depth compared to 3rd/3.5.

The ability to recover some spell slots is nice, as are some of the bonus spells. A few of which aren't normally on the druid spell list.

What I'd really like is the circle of stars implemented, which I play in one of my live games. Very cool sub-class.
