Why is Dame Alyin sad after she cast Bane on Lorroakan? Did I miss something? Or has the reason why just not come up yet?

in the theme that Balder's Gate has ongoing is that everything is connected like a web matrix, my theory is that Lorroakan is actually Dame's brother in a world where gods and goddesses have demi gods like dame and openly play favourites. it makes sense to me that Lorroakan might be an estranged brother that was cast aside as a rejected child of light. this would explain his superiority complex because in his mind he is of divine decent. in nearly every form of media elves are well known to live for hundreds if not over a thousand years. its a good chance that Lorroakan was old enough to know he was being disowned and would likely have an ambition to return on his own by any means necessary and the most likely method would feasibly be by using the weave to ascend his own mortality and become a god.

On a silly note, it's because Aylin is tired of the mask she has become: the sex angel for Isobel and the Smither of enemies. She just wanted to read a book in front of a fire, but no, Isobel wants sez, and what mommy’s cleric want, mommy’s cleric gets (I mean, you don’t want to disappoint a premium investor in your mommy company, do you?). Imagine the peer pressure!
And when Isobel is tired of the sez, someone is in need of a smite!, even when Aylin just wanted to read the freaking book! She will never know why the Hobbits have been taken to Isengard.

On a more serious note, I think it’s because Aylin, by killing Lorroakan is coming reeaaally close in breaking terms and conditions of her Paladin Oath (another part of her power). Which is… comprehensible, considering what she suffered. But Oaths are not flexible enough to take personal struggle in consideration. It’s basically her Oath remember her that she should be better than that (offering redemption to her enemies, for example).

I'm with the it changed her crowd. As the daughter of Selune (even if she is a sort of vengeance paladin// sword wilder) she should have mercy in her heart (unless the dad is Tempus or something).

So when she kills Lokkrain, she sort of lost control of her anger. So she had a bit of soul searching to do. The old he who hunts Monster must make sure he doesn't become a monster himself situation.

Quite funny what theories some people have. It's actually a much simpler answer in fact. She broke her Oath.
She is a vengeance paladin and her killing Lorroakan leads to braking her oath.

If you play a paladin and you brake your oath , you will get a small cut scene similar to what she got.

Bc she is a horribly written and coded character who spits venom at every turn yet still manages to be a damsel in distress who can barely hold up in combat. Oh did you know she loves her lover and loves making lover to her lover? She'll let you know every time you talk to her. Real strong char there.

What are you talking about? In the summons for the last battle she was trearing up the battle field.

I just summoned her and the slime the mindflayers didn't know what hit them.

Point to note
she looses the "child of the moon maiden" Feature after she kills lorroakan, she possibly is paladin by class and looses her oath for killing the wizard, but that feature also said she cant be killed and regains 1 hp after downed so is she mortal after the lorroakan fight ?
