That's a perfectly normal median for much of the world, including the Philippines, Cuba and Albania.
When he wants to be smart he acts like it’s his hamster, he is a Ranger after all , an expert in deception
So is Jaheria the dumb one?
So 100 (edit: oh he's 8, conflicting char sheets)
Int 14 is basically genius level, and it checks out in the game.
18 is demigod level int, and it checks in the game too.
20 is unheard of among mortals (almost), and it checks out in the game too.
Boo is also a miniature giant space hamster. Real actual thing. BG3 has lore books written on them, and in BG2 you can console command boo into your party - giant space hamster who is practically invincible and can solo dragons
Yes Minsc talks to boo. Boo saved the world from the bhaalspawn crisis, using Minsc as a tool
The irony of this comment
Crocodile mouth. It always eats the bigger number.
10x your Int is a good approximation (and one the game itself has given us before).
140 IQ is the lower end of 'genius', 160 (i.e. 16 Int) the middle, and 180 towards the upper end, although some humans have been known to have 200+.
God like attributes are always 20+, and really more like 25+, although weaker gods coild have some ability scores in the 21-24 range. Remember, even giants have Str and Con scores from 20-24...in fact, I just looked it up, and Storm Giants have Str of 29. Giants aren't even divine, so maybe "god-like" doesn't even start until lime 30'ish.
In Baldur's Gate 1, you sometimes had the option to pick dialogue choices that were exclusive to low intelligence characters and if I recall, low int started at either 9 or 8 and any number lesser than that. It never made much sense to me considering that Jaheira is one of the dumbest characters in the entire series at only 10 int when she seems fairly intelligent to me. Some would say that's just her street wise wisdom but even her wisdom score is fairly mediocre lol. She doesn't even speak like a midwit, so I would've guessed that she was at least 15 int. Then again Viconia has high int & wisdom but her charisma is fairly low when she's generally portrayed as attractive.
The stats are supposed to reflect rule sets for dungeon gaming & not pure table top but I dunno it's still weird. Jaheira is borderline Minsc according to her stats but she comes across as one of the more intelligent people you meet. She's not Edwin tier, who truly does come across as a high IQ pompous ass who laughs at all simian minded beings, but Jaheira seemed as though she'd be a tier below him.
Then you have someone like Anomen who has the image of a Paladin but his charisma is only 13. In his case, it's intentional because his crap personality reflects his stats. He's basically the male equivalent of a bimbo.
