Does Gale have a Tadpole?(Spoilers)
...cause when you unlock the ability to use them and not playing Gale -- there is no tadpole that was already used to unlock Illithid Persuasion. I am literally staring at Gale's brain screen and the center icon isn't used.

Is this really a dev oversight? He is also the only party member that doesn't have a mind connection when you first meet them.

I don't remember clearly but it seems when you meet him he mentions if we were in the ship too.

Isn't some of his opening lines about if any of you are a healer, cleric and so forth then seeking one out should be a priority to fix your problem.

Huh...then that has to be a dev oversight then.

He has one.. either a bug or you didnt convince him yet. Not every party member automatically is okay with it. Ive definitely given him tadpole skills

perhaps a new bug

There's a difference between convincing someone to consume tadpoles - before you do, you cannot see their powers - and already having the Persuasion power.

Some characters, like Gale or Wyll at least, once you convince them to use the tadpoles, have no powers unlocked.

Others, they have the Persuasion power unlocked.

Come act 3 with a certain choice, he'll just randomly get a power he never unlocked in earlier acts, because he never agreed to the tadpole in earlier acts, yet it treats it as though he did.

So dev oversight.

He thinks he's a god, so he probably doesn't feel a need to indulge in a brain eating parasite. He's right too, grease is a great use early game.

And if you give him all your scrolls, he is a god by the start of act 3 anyway.

Think halsin, jaheira and minsc are the only ones without a tadpole
