Baldur's Gate 3

Baldur's Gate 3

The final boss of the game is Ketheric Thorm,
And there is nothing you can say that can change my mind. The game has a massive quality in terms of quality and quest design after you arrive in Baldur's Gate.

I can't be the only one that feels this way.

I think that overall, dropping the illithid plot and having the game conclude after you defeat Ketheric would have been a great ending. However, if I had a satisfying epilogue for Act 3, I could easily change my mind.

No.
Act 3 gets a lot of complain for the compleet tone shift it has.
Like it was made by a different team who never spoke to the other team.
Or lack oversight.

The netherbrain was a nice fight boss but coudnt make up for act 3 rather dull story.
I was actually thinking something similar.

If you just quit at the end of Act 2, it's probably not a bad game.

Maybe in a year or so we'll get the "Act 3" expac.

The game completely falls apart by Act 3.

So what if we just don't play Act 3?

$60, but maybe some day we'll get the full game?

I agree with that. He had proper and pretty good build up, was excited to finally face him. Then you end up with two nonsensical antagonists that start off betraying each other and want to team up with you even though your entire goal is to kill them? And then they do all this cheap stuff that's supposed to make the player hate and want to kill them. But its not a good kind of "Hate" like with Ketheric, they want to kill them because they're annoying and should just go away.

Ketheric was definitely the best villain in the game. I think the game was envisioned for the main character to play as the dark urge. It does explain the plot holes in act 3. If you haven't done so, I'd recommend it.

act 2 is the weakest part of the game. act 3 is the best.
