No. Role-play is about being able to play any option available, not being forced to play a particular build because of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game-design.
This game is a bogus power-gamer feast. Your enemies will also get 2-3 attacks for your 1 attack. ALL OF THEM. Right now, I'm in the Counting House vault, and have 2 enemies left. None of my people seem to have Detect Presence, and the enemy are bogusly undetectable with my eye from Volo. Larian are the world's worst DMs.
