Question about Romances in ultimate variation... Please no spoilers...
So as I'm playing my way through this game, I am slowly starting to realise that I will not experience all the romances in the game, in all their variations... It pains me to admit it, but the game is just too darn long...

So I have a hundred questions, all of which are general in nature, not specific. So please answer them the same way.

1: Can you romance more than 1 person at a time without conflict?
2: Can you romance the people who seem more interested in 1-night stands? Or is it just a hook-up?
3: If you play a pre-made character, will there be any unique twists on any of the romances? (Yes/no)
4: If you start one romance, and change your mind and want to pursue someone else, is that possible?

Look, I know there are a lot of you who hate romances, or at least pretend to, but I seriously love this fictional stuff, it's my main motivation for getting through the game. And I know I'm not the only one, so please help me my fellow fanfic fans <3

The game by default is not made to let you experience everything in one run. Just to many choices and stuff. And some characters are just pretty contrarian.

I heard, that a lof of people do not like to share, so not really a harem simulator.

1. You can start romancing up to 2 people. That means you can initiate and play out their first romance scene. With the second romance scene you progress to relationship and you have to break up with one of them. If you recruit a specific companion then in Act 3 you will also be propositioned by that one as well and have the option to maintain a relationship with that person and your original mate simultaneously, however only 2 of the 6 origins will agree to that, the rest will also have you choose between the two.

2. You can romance everyone but 2 non-origin companions you'll get in late Act 2 and Act 3 respectively.

3. No clue. haven't played any but Tav/DU

4. It is. If you break up with someone when that option presents itself it should unblock the rest.

Thank you so much for the answers! So what you say about starting to romance 2 people, I am not sure how to do this... In act 1 I agreed to share a wine with Shadowheart, but I mostly wanted to get closer to Lae'zel. But once I had shared that wine with Shadowheart (at the party, first ever romantic interaction), and afterwards went to talk to Lae'zel, she called me spoiled meat and turned away. After just a wine, a conversation and a single kiss shared with shadowheart...

I mean, Shadowheart and Lae'zel are at each others throat all the time. They already hated each other on the Nautilus. What do you expect, how they react if you cuddle with their 'arch nemesis' :)
