Are player models and such extra.. shiny? Glittery?

I don't know if I'm just having some stroke, but my game looks slightly different. Characters and 'trim' of sorts all look particularly shiny or glittery. I'm not exactly sure how to describe it. Example in link.

It wasn't like this when I played a day or so ago, so I'm wondering if Patch 2 did something? It's super distracting.

Yeah most RPG endgame armor is shiny.

It's not End Game shine. It's something graphical. Just had a conversation with Orin and she was lit up like a disco ball. Looked super... wet? I dunno. It's odd. Something changed, either Nvidia driver related, or Patch 2 related.

I figured it out. When my DLSS is off, the effect is there. When I turn it on (Quality), the effect goes away.

EDIT: I should add that I always ran this game without DLSS so I'm unsure why this is happening without DLSS now, but gone with it on. Driver related I'm assuming.

Congratulations on your low graphic setting brainstorm. If you think your issue might be improved you might try reporting it on the actual Larian forum rather than a trollhub.

? I run the game on Ultra settings. I had no reason to test DLSS as a culprit as I never used it to begin with.

I think Blanch meant more like you don't often find quality help or advice here, this is mostly for people complaining about social issues for some reason XD Glad that you managed to locate the culprit!
