Warlock's main ability is Charisma when Raistlin was all about intelligence, so Wizard is my choice for it.
Not sure how to build it in BG3, I will try in the next days, but Drangonlance is part of D&D world, so there should be a way.
It is also possible that you will need to use multi-class character to replicate it.
There are some story blah blahs that don't fit, and he was from AD&D era so some other oddites as well.
The DL world is different, the moon phases affect magic greatly -- when yours is full you cast at level +1 and when its invisible its -1 from what I recall of that world?
For Base game level 12 (in order): Wizard-6 (Abjuration or Transmutation) / Sorcerer-2 (Shadow) / Warlock-4 (Old one, pact of Tome).
Feats: AI (Int) / Spell Sniper
Wizard for initial training and overall versatility, Sorcerer for his ability to manipulate magic and non-academic experience/learning during his adventuring days (meta-magic), and Warlock (Old One, Tome) for his following of Fistandantilus (at least long enough to gain power).
For level 20 mods would add 3 Wiz/1 Sorc/3 Wiz/1 Sorc for his continued search for knowledge and power: Wiz 12/ Sorc 4/ Warlock 4.
Extra Feats: AI (Int/Wis) / Actor / Ritual Caster
