Lost "Summon Scratch", is it recoverable?
I used scratch as a way to escape a situation with a genie. Because I knew I could just UNSUMMON him and resummon him later.

Scratch is still at camp, still hanging out, but I no longer have the ability to summon him.

He's not super useful, but he's neat. Just wondering if there's a way to get that ability back.

No, it's not in the spellbook K menu, it's gone. Guess I'll just escape the genie another way next time

If you still have his ball (the ball with the action, non-scratch balls don't have actions attached to them), you could try throwing it and see if that returns his summon to the hotbar.

THAT WAS IT! I put the ball on a different character! Now it works and he's back.

I didn't realize the ball itself was the item that lets you summon him

That's going in my "Key items" Smelly pouch

Funny enough, there's actually a ball called "Scratch's Ball" that you find in act 3, that has nothing to do with scratch, is not in a place scratch has ever been, and scratch will not interact with it at all
