after getting the second netherstone
after getting the second netherstone how much time do you have until it is game over? Or you can rest and do quests on their own, without being timed.

Do you mean in act 3 ? i didn't kill Gortash yet since i have a feeling there will be a sense of urgency (real or not) so it's the last thing i'll do in the area.

But the game doesn't use a lot of time limited quest it seems.

There's no "real" time limit that you have to get the stones within. In fact, you can claim all three and wander off to do other stuff instead of jumping into endgame. It's the same kind of deal as with the tadpoles in the beginning, there narrative creates a sense of urgency but the gameplay doesn't reflect it.

Things around the city will change slightly after each collected stone though, which may end up cutting off some quest lines or enabling others. For instance, no House of Hope until Gortash is down because you need a note that's on his person to trigger a dialogue.

Not true, I did everything possible before killing Gortash, had already killed Orin, and I had done the House of Hope before Gortash.

Actually went to the house of hope (even kill Rafifi ) but i didn't kil gortash. The game give you a lot of little things to start quests so there are multiple triggers.

Forever .
You have unlimited time to do side chores and there is zero urgency to complete the quest.
