Dark Urge is easy mode?

I enjoyed he durge until act 2 when you get a very OP ability.
To bad cuz the story line was so fun.

EDIT to clarify. The Beast itself isnt OP its the free 98 HP dip when ever you want that is OP.

Probably talking about to the baldurs gate 2 transformation that the main character could have. I am playing dark urge and I didn't get that in act 2, probably because I'm not doing it the evil way. I know BG1 and 2 quite well myself, I sort of figured out all the clues for the dark urge origin story long before act 2.

My lazael does way more damage.

The game is just overall kind of easy once you hit like level 4. I dont even have a healer in my party. Although im only at the end of act 2 so that may change.

You don't have to use it. I never did until the fight with Orin because of RP, but otherwise I had no need to use it either.

Morphing into a 98 HP monster that does not touch your regular HP and still having what ever class is pretty OP to me.

Slayer mode is pretty weak near the endgame.
A full geared fighter that can jump across the room? Now that's a monster.

I agree. ijust thought Dark Urge was going to be harder NOT easier.

In a single player game it is up to you what you do. Dark Urge is great otherwise. Just seems Very EASY>

At end game though. I just read Dark Urge was going to be a better story but hard. It is a better story for sure., Just super easy. Maybe i should do a TAV run

I found act 3 disappointing because they uncovered the dark urge mystery in like 5 mins, they were playing very secretly until they point and I was hoping to uncover the secret slowly, plus it turned out I had a build perfect for dealing with Orin, so she was a too easy

It's easier in some sense that it can lead you to easy solutions like the attack on the Druid Grove for example. But rest of that and some other choices no, it's more like you have to kill everything in your path if you are going full durge.

Curious about this, I got it at level 11 by killing Orin, it has 98hp

True, but you can only get it if you commit to the evil playthrough, which can easily cause multiple of your companions to leave you, or in the case of Minsc and Jaheria even try to kill you.

Bard is the real easy mode with Otto's Irresistible Dance. 100% chance of making a boss unable to act for 10 rounds.

it is really so-so compared to what my monk can do. Just an additional HP bar for a long fight. I have more fun with a displacer beast morphing tbh.
