Jaheira (and Minsc) reclassing options

I never played BG1, and it's been eons since I played BG2. I'm looking for lore-friendly reclassification.

For Jaheira, Fighter-Druid does not translate well into DnD 5e, and Halsin already covers the Druid position.

Would, modernly, Jaheira make more sense as a DW Ranger if reclassed?


Then, with Minsc, he already is a Ranger. Iirc, he has a beserk mechanic in the old games. So, modernly, wouldn't he do better as a Barbarian? Although that's Karlach here... Could he then work as a monk?

Jaheira as a Ranger is perfectly in line with a fighter druid.

Minsk was supposed to be a Barbarian but the class doesn't exist in AD&D 2nd edition, so changing that is perfectly logical.

Made Minsc into a monk because he's bald.

I made minsc into a fighter in one playthrough and a berserker in another, fit his character both ways.

As mentioned before, ranger fits the Jaheira shtick.
