Yurgir
Wait, I am definitely sure I killed him back in Gauntlet of Shar...

How in the ♥♥♥♥ he still shows up in House of Hope and not to mention sided with Raphael??????? Unless Raphael tricked me to believe Yurgir is his sworn enemy and do not release him* but in fact Yurgir actually his imprisoned allied and I freed him by killing him??????????????????????????????? The ♥♥♥♥??

Even if hes' devil and cannot be killed and just get sent backs to hell theoratically

That's literally it. Raphael explicitly tells you this.

Devil stuff

I don't know that it explains it in game but D&D in general had a rule that non-mortal things getting killed while not on their home plane are reformed on said Home Plane. The only way to kill a Devil/Demon/Modron/Angel/etc is to travel to their home plane and kill them there.

demons and devils dont die outside of their normal planes, you just sent him back to hell, you didnt kill him

Raphael tells you that he is there? i did a long rest after the fight, and he showed up in my camp and told me that, with the facts about astarion

Oh well, least I convinced him with D31 and have him fight with me against Ralpael - he only contributes like 60 ish damage though lol mostly spending time rolling invisibility lawd

Raph can appear in multiple areas depending on how you progress through the game.

But then that means they are friends to begin with and didn't Mizora also mentioned she has a friend imprisoned under Moonrise Tower (Gauntlet of Shar I presumed) that needs rescue??

All that pointed to Yurgir so I guess if you talk to him instead of fighting and send him back to hell then he will not show up then at House of Hope or will still show up but won't need convince?

Also Korilla is there that made sense, but I think I only see her 1st time in Sharess Caress but she said she seen me before (yes in crow form but not talked to her before ACT 3?)

The point is: why would he side with raphael when he was the one that asked us to kill him (and yurgir knows that raphael sent us after him since he mentiones him during our chat with him)? And even more so, why would try to sway yurgir to join our side AFTER WE "KILLED" HIM ONCE (so we were dominant) and again, after raphael sent us to kill him, be a dc30? It makes no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense. I mean, you need a lower dc roll in the first encounter. Make that a d30. So you either roll a nat 20 or you have little to no chance to sway him.

To me it was just a cheap way to artificially increase the difficulty of the fight just for the sake of it. Which is imo bad gameplay design. But to each their own i guess.

Well, as for siding with Raphael, he might dislike you more than he dislikes Raphael.
He might have the way he believes you will lose.
You might not have impressed him enough.

But if you con, defeat or free him, and play your cards right, he will side with you against Raphael and aid you in the final fight. And the number you need to draw will vary, as in most cases, for a number of things, most of them, on previous stuff.

I guess the problem of him siding with Raphael is not him, it is you.

It's not that he sided with Raphael, it's that he was binded to Raphael from the start and was only in the Gauntlet of Shar to complete a task for Raphael in exchange for his freedom - by killing him, he failed that task and is pmuch forever Raphael's lacky. Raphael was lying the entire time about Yurgir being his mortal enemy - the reason he wants you to just jump Yurgir is so you don't find out about the deal they have. That being said, devils are gonna devil so even if you get all that out of the way another deal gets made eventually.
