How do you light a torch with the gamepad controls?

Seriously, how is that going to work? My character has a torch equipped in inventory as a light source, but how do I light it? It's easy to do with the mouse and keyboard, there's a button for it, but how do I do it while using the gamepad controls?

I don't think it's possible at the moment as a shortcut using the controller DPad, etc.. You should be able to go into your inventory and equip it that way. Just make sure you switch before combat starts or you'll have to use an action to switch it

bro... it's in the control scheme for the gamepad bring up the options screen

you have to have your lightsource in the appropriate equipment slot 1st

you can do it several ways... the d-pad or go directly to the inventory screen and equip it there

I'm pretty sure you mean to say 'Press AND Hold pressed" D-pad UP

such that pressing the D-pad UP is not a tap of the button but a persistent press consisting of some time interval beyond a second possibly

one problem with this its, that theres no weapon switching shortcut so if u finish ur turn with a range attack u cant swap back to melee meaning u cant use attacks of oportunity on that turn
