ZAITH ISK
Larian: "in our game we make only things, that we think would be fun!"

Also Larian: let's do a moment, when you silently get permanent -6 ability points debuff which can't be cured anyhow, even with greater restoration. It's such funny in a game, where even +1 does matter.

didn't though you are sadistic. No fun here, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Out of curiosity, what all characters say something negative against it?

On my current playthrough, Lae'zel especially WANTS to go there and use it. With Guardian was only one who told me not to go there. But at the same time, they were against the very idea of even meeting the Gith.
Lae'zel is literally the only one who wants to go in. Every other companion says "This is sus. Don't do it."
Hmm, I see - had Astarion and Shadowheart with me on previous run, and neither of them had anything to say about the event.

Maybe the interaction bugged for me then. Only place where Shadowheart said anything against the idea was Astarion's personal quest.

Shadowheart and Karlach were with me. Shadowheart was against using it, and Karlach was shouting that we needed to pull Lae'zel out during it.

Ridiculous, how many dumb excuses can be imagined to justify a clearly bad case of gamedesign combined with total ignorance of any other circumstances and facts. Just repeat "npc told me to not, but you yes, booo, cosequences" until he surrender... :steamfacepalm:.

I just took the -2 int for Lae’zel and pass the [wisdom] test. It’s more storywise and not a important stat for a battlemaster fighter. You can choose your custom character and win the saving throws to overcome the debuff.

Doing the Lae’zael zaith route allowed to put her in my side when I refuse the queen

How many dumb excuses can be imagined just to justify that you ignored all the warnings that were thrown at you, complain that it cant be fixed, and then when told how to fix it, complain its against your roleplay.

I play with no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tadpoles. I'm playing as gith main. Hate to illithids and those parasites? Role playing? Even so, game not tells you about given debuff, so, if there was no patchnotes, i wouldn't know about that also.

It's pretty easy to justify in terms of roleplay, your own kind lied to you and tried to kill you, and the entity who encourages you to eat the tadpoles is the only reason you're still alive (the guardian explicitly tells you multiple times that trusting the gith and their "cure" is bad idea btw), so you might as well listen to it for once and eat the damn tadpoles.

in D&D game you can't cure something with a cure, that SHOULD cure it. That's "oh no".

Mad scientist: "Oh you are infected by one of our mortal enemies? Sure, I - a proud member of this evil race of murder frogs serving a lich queen who absolutely despise weakness - can help you get rid of AAAAAALLLL your troubles."
This guy: "Whew! Let's do it!"

The fix is not the fix you want so it's not a fix..?

The DM was point blank staring at you going "ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO SIT IN THE CHAIR?" and you still sat in the chair and then get mad when ♥♥♥♥ goes bad. They warned you and you still did it anyways.

Why should they give you the 'fix you want' when you ignored everything the DM was telling you before you sat your happy ass in the chair.
