Arcane recovery ability help

[Windows 10 is Horrible.]

It doesnt seem to recover any spells. How does it work?

Say you have 3 arcane recovery charges
With those, out of combat, you can recover either 1 level 3 slot, a level 2 and a level 1 slot, or 3 level 1 slots.

If you have all of your level 3 slots and you try to recover a level 3 slot, it won't recover anything.

I have one level 1 recovery and 1 level 2 recovery. I click on it to cast, but how do i select a spell?

You recover the slot, not the spell. You just click in empty space and get the slot back.

When i cast Arcane Recovery, it glows, but it wont let me click on anything except myself of the ground, and nothing changes after its cast.

well my spells are all cast. doesnt it reset them?

It resets one of them.
ie, lv 2 arcane recovery resets a level 2 slot.

oh ♥♥♥♥ i had boots of striding on that negates my spell casting
