Warning: Do not take the "charm" passive in tadpol ability
it is the dumbest thing these devs have invented. Its literally wasting time, you need to constantly click "no" after each attack of enemies, and if you click "yes" most of the time it fails, and if it works, it only prevents the enemy from attacking your ONE UNIT that used charm, it just switches to another one of your units.

Pure garbage idea, and i regret taking it, and they also didnt allow you to "reset" the tadpol abilities.

Can you not disable the reaction in your reaction menu?

The charm is great for characters which are no fighters, if the fighters are low on hit points or the person who gets attacked is the only reachable one for the enemy you charm. I am not that annoyed by the messages and I also did not fail that often.

As above, I will say it was an incredibly useful ability in my first playthrough. Saved my sorcerer characters life during one on one fight they found themselves in. Was pretty epic, I do like the way you sort of levitate up to use it too.

Also isn't it a Charisma check? Ofcourse it's missing kinda often if you are not versed in the corresponding ability score. Now my Bard has some better things to do with it's reaction, but in act 1 Charm was quite handy.

I’ve found it pretty useful but sure.

Warning: do not make silly posts when you haven't found the automatic reaction toggle

As others pointed out turning off the pop up for Charm is the best thing ever, a passive reaction.

Luck Of The Far Realms however... now that's annoying.

Gotta keep it deactivated completely until I'm actually willing to use it, otherwise it will constantly keep asking to trigger or automatically trigger if I remove the pop up.

I fail to see how that's useless? If your main character is a pathetic 12 AC wizzard or something, why not divert the enemies attention to someone else, likely a fighter with 17+ AC? If you fail the roll to charm them, thats just DnD. ROLLS.

The game is stuffed with unfinished ideas because the developers were worried the game had peaked during early access and so instead of finishing the game they set a release date for it.
Played a Monk and it doesn't fail often with 16 Wisdom.

Can't. You have to complain on the steam forums to show your lacking game knowledge. That's the spirit.
