15-30 second input delay when playing coop
Hi,

As of the last week myself and my friend, who have been playing through the game co-op, have begun to notice unplayable input lag. It will be 10-15 second between action/movement (or just at random) before the game catches up. It's infuriating and we are not able to progress because of it :(

Any advice? Tried lots of different things suggested online (setting priority high, capping fps, turning off vsync) but nothing has worked.

Thanks

Good internet connection. The person who host the multiplayer has to have good upload and download speeds. And also rather fast PC…
And if there are errors in internet connection… Delays will happen.
We have player 3 player coop and everything has been smooth, but our host have really fast coonection to both directions.

I have 40-50 mbps download and 1-3 mbps upload, is the upload throttling it?

I'm sorry to break it to you but yes, most likely the upload is the throttle as well in case there are people in your household using internet at the same time - you're screwed with those speeds. Not sure what your situation is but I'd use LAN connection to the router if you're using WiFi as of now and asked one of my friends who has a better connection to host.
Distance also matters, so if you're playing with people from a different continent - well you get it.

The upload is fine. None of what you wrote in the first post of yours make sense.
