Companion interactions are jarring

I have to be dismissive/mean towards all of the companions that i'm not trying to romance, because the slightest hint of being nice puts me into a romance scene with them. Even the limited 'friendly' responses that we have now are really weird and sexually charged. Please add dialogue for just being friendly or at least allow us to turn off romance for specific characters so we don't stumble into awkward interactions.

If you focus a romance, most of the other characters will leave you alone, and most of the true romance dialogue options are fairly obvious. Especially at the Act 1 party.

This game has tons of bugged interactions. My game thinks Karlach is still alive and punishes Gale. In addition it believes Zevlor is alive when he died in act 1.

Thing is most bans from discussion boards only extend to the game itself. For example, I could be banned on the BG3 boards, but still comment just fine on the Fallout: New Vegas ones. My best assumption is that he said something some people didn't like on a different thread, and with the way the world operates nowadays, he got banned for some frivolous stuff that shouldn't have warranted such drastic consequences because of how many people reported him all at once. Though, most of the time, getting banned for "being rude" only lasts for about a day if you haven't been banned for a long time, in my experience.

Yes, although the time accumulates across boards. So if you start getting week long bans on one board and then get a single ban on another board, that ban might be a permanent ban on that one board. It’s weird like that

This is spot on and what people have been complaining about. At this point I wish we could just toggle all romances off. The game would be much better.

I completely agree. The thought of pursuing romance while living with a ticking timebomb of a mindflayer tadpole in your brain...I'm not in the mood.

The report button is being severely abused. I never believed people to be that shallow, to report someone simply because they do not agree with what the other is saying. Foolish, I know.

There’s a lot of difference between different opinions and hate speech and trolling, both of which break Steam’s TOS. “If you can’t be nice, you can’t be here”, should be pretty straightforward
