Legend of Ansur book not in inventory

After I have the discussion with Wyll and his dad, he gives me the book but it is not appearing in my inventory so I'm not able to start the quest.

I've tried verifying my game files but no luck. Anyone else had this or a similar issue and have any idea how to make the book appear?

I had this bug show up for me on PS5 as well. There's a quest objective that follows my character around on the minimap but the book isn't in my inventory

The new update that came out today just fixed it for me. YAY!

The same thing happened to me. I have installed the newest patch and still cant find the book

I’m having this bug now but different. The book is not in my inventory, but my journal says I have the book I should read the legend of ansur. Also, on my map, it says read the legend of answer and has a marker, but that marker is also lorrokoakans projection in sorcerer sundries

Still having this glitch, can’t find the book which I thought I received. Wyll dad’s dead. No one in camp or camp chest has the book

Have found the lair occasionally getting there by Jaheira in cat form.
