[SOLVED] **SPOILERS** Lower City Bug?

I'm at Act 3 - Whenever I enter Baldur's Gate lower city I get attacked by guards saying that I slain their comrade. I have NEVER murdered any guards and the previous location (Wyrm's Rest and Rivington) I do not get attacked by any guards. This is game breaking I cannot continue on with the story.

There are many quests that are buggy where killing quest enemy counts as killing innocent. That will reduce your reputation. Also there is a quest called stop the press which you will receive as soon as you enter lower city that will ruin your reputation if not completed as early as possible.

I found a post on Reddit, It says to leave Lower City and go back to Rivington then back again. It worked.

What a dumb bug.

Condition: Fight them but knock them out unconscious. Once you go back, you'd see the blood again but they won't fight anymore. Krazy
