Way to allow more than 4 Custom MP character?

Using the new Wayward Friends Wardrobe, is there a way to have more than 4 custom characters in a game?

I don't mean active at all the same time, but rather have multiple (>4) players' custom MP characters stored in the Wardrobe so that we can swap custom PC's in and out of the party?

nope. 4 is the limit.

I really hope they implement this. As it stands, any joining player is forced to used a character already in the wardrobe rather than being prompted to create their own. I feel like this doesn't reflect the flexibility the wardrobe feature would imply.

I'm currently unable to join my friend and make my own character, even though he only has 2 inside the wardrobe at the moment. I don't understand why I can't make my own.

Yes mods, thou you will only revert to four in specific parts of the game.

Be careful about boarding the Grymfiorge boat with >4, will bug out.
