Bad settings.
It seems that it's time to refuse 5% overclocking for these new games =\ Okay. The risk to burn the PC doesn't justify the reward.
clean the filters, reseat cpu-cooler with new paste, the usual schtuff.
*can also be a psu that's starting to fail. basically if all the temps are monitored and good then it's most likely the psu
Which area are you in because I crashed the most in the forge.
And no, my PC is not overclocked because you cannot overclock or curve optimize the 5800x3D by conventional means and my 6950xt is not overclocked because it resets all settings when it fails. I have had this build for over a year and put in 1000s of hours with it and this is the only game that can cause a full PC shutdown with dx11.
You are not alone, there are many threads on the larian forums and in the technical help section, https://steamcommunity.com/app/1086940/discussions/3/3808408747681085307/, with the exact issue.
A lot of the responses in this thread are on par with "run sfc /scannow and reinstall windows"
