Owlbear cub ran away?

Did the whole thing, his mom, the goblin camp, etc.

After a few long rests the Cub showed up. I can speak with animals so the cub was like “Friend?” And I was like “yeah bud, I won’t hurt you.” Then Gale came over and was all “something something the hands that feed” then the cub was like “nooooo!” And ran away.

Gale was all “guess I stand corrected.”

Now the cub is just gone.

Wha happun?

Gale was trying to romance it. I mean this dude does that to everyone apparently.

it comes back but there's no point to the cub. i think there are 2 or 3 more dialogues you can possibly get with it in total for the whole game. i was hoping it would progress to a summon like scratch does

it can come into play at the end of act 3

It only has 23 HP? Never summoned it, but in the inn portion it had like 83 HP or something cause Dammon gave it steroids.
