Seemingly never met Lae'zel

I finished my play through & had every playable character except one. It seems I either didn’t meet Lae'zel or did something so that she never joined my party. Where was she supposed to appear?

She is sitting in a cage next to the abandoned chapel in act 1.

She appears near the start (after the nautiloid crash) trapped in a cage by tieflings.

She can leave your party if you disobey Vlaakith without her with you

Aye. From the fron main entrance if you go up the left stairs, leave the church through the exit and follow the path, which should lead to the Grove entry you should meet her there sitting in a good place for her.

She actually dies if you take too long to rescue her from her cage. Or so im led to believe

And I still managed to miss that. Big oof. I spent a lot of time clearing the whole act 1 fog map too. I was waiting the whole time to meet her, I thought maybe in the githyanki crèche or something haha

Once you get past the crash site (and rescued Gale) you will come across an intersection. Going straight ahead will take you to the chapel but there is a path to your left instead that will have remnants of broken traps and nets along the way that will lead you to a pair of tieflings which is where you will find Lae'zel.
