The githyanki queens guards should chase you if you take his sword in act 1.
As per the lore, the queen who sits on a throne of mindflayer skulls, should send her guards to hunt you down throughout the game if you take voss' sword. This is what happens if a silver sword is taken by anyone other than a githyanki.

Yes i know laezel is gith, but shes an outcast essentially, and yes it would be more exp throughout the game but who cares people keep telling me its about the journey anyway not min maxing.

Whatever, you are not supposed to take his sword, I did it to see the thing by myself, the truth is it's "bugged" if you give the sword to Lae'Zel you get some discussions that are supposed to happen in the act 3...So they are not going to put some extra things to the game only because some people save scum to get the sword in a cheesy way

This seems incorrect, they deliberately gave him two swords, and the purple one, is only available after you take his legendary one.
So , why not just give him the purple one, in act 1...
It also hasnt been patched or changed since launch
Laezels dialogue is literally just a trigger, they clearly hadnt switched the trigger off for act 1 thats all. Its more likely its a bug that laezels dialogue is not mena trigger this early.

Vlaakith isn't omniscient. Unless Voss told her he had his sword stolen, which would probably get him evaporated for his foolishness, she wouldn't know.

They're not exactly on speaking terms during the game's events, either. Contacting her over something trivial would be a stupid idea for someone who wants to fly under her radar while he carries out his covert mission.

Voss is a traitor

Do Lae'zel's storyline, you'll see why.

My understanding on reading it , is that a sword lost in the material plane reverberates in the other planes and thats how they know how to forever hunt whoever took it..

this is not relevant, these weapons are sought to be returned to the gith, it doesnt matter who lost it, they are usually destroyed anyway.

You can disguise yourself as Gith and use the sword as it is.

true.
i do that. But it still doesnt change the fact a non gith has the sword and there is no repercussions for it.

It is relevant.

It's almost like progressing Lae'zel's storyline presents you with an explanation or something. crazy right?

it doesnt. because its inconsequential to how the gith should react to a lost astral sword.

Lae'zel literally gives you an explanation, not my fault you're cosplaying as Minsc.

What do my achievements have to do with anything?

I just got the sword(I'm lvl 3 gith fighter) and so far, the 2 fights I've been in has also aggro'd the guards and they are on the move.
