basicly none of my characters can throw/unequip nyrulna if anyone knows a solution pls help
(i could throw it when i first got it + it does not say bound anywhere)
Trivia: thread is from August 2023
First official report of the bug is from Feburary 2024
The reports until this month, specifically on Nyrulna whatever its name trident is, were so incredible thin that it could not investigated properly. It was mostly lacking savegames and/or detailed descriptions on how to reproduce it. Only when there were finally screenshots it became understandable what was happening that caused the glitch to occur. And I write glitch because it glitched the weapon and bugged out the GUI. It is not an actual weapon bug.
People really should make better bug reports if they care about such things. I often see dozens and dozens of posts on a matter and found myself astonished when the actual bug reports are close to nonexisting aside from a mention on a side note.
Haven't had any issues with Nyrulna after I got it, but thanks to this necro thread, I will now be more careful with it.
Why is the Baldur's Gate Returning Pike not returning?

Now: I know. This concerns the Returning Pike, but I have seen the SAME issue with Nyrulna, AND other "returning" weapons, show the same behavior, even BEFORE I started using mods.
I admit I am not the best at reporting bugs in the most productive way. Especially as I am on a non-standard platform I'm not sure how useful my reports are. All I don't like is being told they are not real when they are widely reported on.
Like reddit or forums posts, gaming blogs are no bug reports.
It is a pity if that author did not reported it properly so the support staff did not have the necessary information at hand to have the developers address the issue.
That is categorised as a different issue in fact.
As mentioned before, now the specifc Nyurthingytrident has an investigation about a glitch which affects the GUI. The weapon itself works as intended, but the GUI can mess up and lead to misleading behaviour in regards of the weapon. It is reproducable and confirmed at least that that way you actually can lose the weapon.
