I defeated the inquisitor... now what?

The quest log says i need to find info about the artifact in the inquisitor room. I've searched that room to the best of my abilities to no avail. The planecaster thing on the floor doesn't work.

What am I supposed to find in this room? I already got the mace of blood that glows like a torch. saved the creche from destruction.

should i just leave the creche now?

Didnt you get the vlakith cutscene asking you to put the artifact in to... do something very specific with it?

i talked to the god woman and got frustrated with her attitude. reloaded a quicksave to before she pops up and killed the inquisitor.

no i didnt enter the artifact to kill whoever is inside it if that's what you're asking about

I got stumped here too, if you wanna finish the quest play along with her (God woman) and you will find a 'good option' out of the questline without pissing off Lea'zel too

she should popup if you kill the inquisitor. almost the same as handing over the artifact.

I took the romance option with the god woman but she didn't tell me anything about the artifact.

am i supposed to use the planecaster on the floor somehow? i told him he couldn't have the weapon and he attacked me.

There is supposed to be a cutscene immediately after you defeat inquisitor. kneel when asked to and then... Tell gith queen youll give the artifact and she will ask you to enter it and Laezel will stay. otherwise you will lose lazael. If the cutscene with gith queen does not happen it is a bug and reloading and killing the inquisitor again fixed it for me and it worked the second time.
