Baldur's gate freezes every 2 seconds

it's like literal freeze for half a second and then it continues to work for a 3 or 2 seconds. It happens even while loading and in main menu where the only start bottom is located

Is it the original or the remaster/enchanced edition of Baldurs Gate that freezes? not experienced it but atleast the enchanced edition have forums on steam you could check?

I don't have hitching in bg3, and my machine is usually pretty prone to it and does it in lots of games. Maybe there's something special about your control panel settings or your hardware that specifically doesn't gel well with the game.
It could be troubleshootable.

laptop rtx 3060 and r5 5600h. I think it doesn't depend on spec because it starts freeze randomly when i go afk for a while
