Chest of the mundange 'fixed' makes this game much more mundane, imo
nothing more fun that sending everything to camp and making 15+ trips to/from camp all the time when visiting a vendor. great fun gameplay.

because a magical chest that reduced the weight of objects placed inside was just oo unbelievable. Celarly larian or whatever they're called never played DND. ever heard of a bag of holding? no? shows how green you devs are.

Or maybe you've never played real D&D if you can't handle a basic weight mechanic and try to hoard more loot than Smaug from Lord of the rings in your tiny pockets

Despite my main character saying "Wish I had a bag of holding" every 5 minutes. Clownposter?

bags of holding were a far right conspiracy

my chest of the mundane is just a barbarian with double carrying capacity.

Except pen and paper is completely different than video game environment. DM's have a huge impact on how the weight mechanic feels and functions. The game economy in BG3 is also entirely different than what you're likely to see in a D&D setting at the table

People keep talking about the video game as if it works the same way pen and paper experience does. IT's really not the case at all.

There's a mod on Nexus that gives a bag of holding.

Please FIX you're "Fix" for the chest, I can carry around every other chest but THIS ONE is suddenly "too heavy" ? with 20 Str on a barbarian with empty pockets ?! c'on ..... it was literally perfect the way it was (apart from what i read breaking in act 3)

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you ever tried to carry a fully loaded rucksack 10-20 miles? I'd bet my left nut you don't make it half that before the arches on your weak little feet collapse. Long hauls with gear on your back are TOUGH.

in real dnd you can just say to your dm "i'll go back and grab that stuff i stashed and come back and sell it" and then it just happens instantly.

Your dm doesn't roll out a playmat and tell you you can only move your miniature one inch at a time, and then get out little tokens to represent each piece of gear, and then make you manually move everything into your bag, and then slowly move your miniature around, and make just selling items take all night.

Maybe it was a bug/oversight, but it was a cool one and not really unbalancing anythig, more of a fun QoL addition, can't understand why they "fixed" that way instead of making it work during all of the game !

Inventory system is quite terrible yeah.

Personally I just use our own magic inventory, sending everything back to camp unless it's useful.

Then I loot it all and sell to some vendor after a long rest.

In d&d if by level 5 you dont have a bag of holding, you failed at your adventurer carreer.

Prety much the 1st item everyone buy, more important than armor and weapons
