Quest glitch. Deal with the Devil. Spoilers

I am nearly done with the campaign i think, without spoiling things to me... I took a small break and on coming back post update i saw that i needed to rest. on making camp and sleeping it said that gale needed to talk with me, and on chatting he said that i accepted the deal with Raphael, to hand over the crown to him agreeing to the contract. inside my quest journal it is telling me that "we refused Raphael's deal, but the- offer remains open" both before (on reloading a save) and after resting it still says the that i refused the deal. However the chat with Gale scares me that i may have a weird ending if part of the game thinks that i accepted the deal.
