I'm of a similar notion. I haven't been spoiled much on Act 3 but I've read/heard there's a good bit of stuff missing from 2 onwards + I still had been encountering some bugs before the latest patch including one that wouldn't let me respec my character without the game crashing.
But mainly, I hated the stupid Gauntlet of Shar. Also, the general direction of the game is every inch of exploration leads to some battle. The game is so linear and restrictive so you can't travel freely around on a map. The city is not until the final act and you are wandering around wilderness and deserted areas until act ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 3.

BG3 is way too long. Most people are satisfied with how Emerald's Grove was resolved and don't want to continue past that bc they already got the ending that they wanted. Think about RDR:2 most people didn't continue past Arthur's death bc to them it was a satisfying conclusion to the story.
Most people have lives..
You are probably looking at 40 hours plus to do all the content in act 1 and 2 if not more.. not everyone who plays games can play every day.. they have work and family and other real life things..
We don't RUSH through the game. We play and enjoy it.
are you trolling or have you spent most of your time ingame walking in circles?
