Why most people did not finish act 2?

According to achievements only 15.8% finished act 2 why is that?

Sounds about right for a long RPG like this. I expect it will go up a bit as some people don't have as much time to play and are progressing slower but not by too much.

I just now finished Act 2. It took me this long to get to Act 3 because of several reasons: I had to restart twice (once due to save corruption and the other because I screwed up story-wise), I can’t play a lot every day because of other obligations and health reasons, I’ve been playing two characters at the same time (one Durge and the other Tav), I’ve respecced several times to try out different classes, I like to take one or two days off from gaming every week or two, and another reason or two I can’t think of right now.

Multiple Reasons

- Start over (again multiple reasons, did not like the outcome of something, missed something, wanna change race/class)
- Real Life! If you only play a few hours a week (and touch grass) you wont even be in act 2 yet
- waiting for patches (thats why i am waiting just at the end of act2)

Same Reason why until 2 Weeks Ago all You Hatertrolls and Doubters etc etc.
Have been Bit**** about only 14% having Finished Act 1 and then Stopped Talking about it when Suddenly that Percentage Started to Massively Increase.

But well. Of Course You Guys can never Accept that its just a Good Game and that You are Simply Wrong with Your Hate.

Reason is Simple.

The Game is Pretty Big.
A Full First Playthrough where You dont already know where everything is and dont just run through stuff with a Guide etc. While still doing at least a Decent amount of the Sidequests and stuff. Will take about 100 Hours and thats Assuming You still Miss Stuff.
And Guess what.
Act 2 depending on how You Play it can have 20 or 40 of these Hours due to what Side You Pick and wether You just Decide to Kill People in Moonrise rather than doing all their Quests etc.

Thing is.
Just like with You Guys Whining about so few People having Finished Act 1 when it was just 2 Weeks after Release.
THE VAST MAJORITY OF PEOPLE HAS TO WORK FOR GODS SAKE.
They cannot just Play 8 Hours a Day You know.
They are Happy if they can Play an Hour or Two each Day.
So Most People will need 3 Weeks just to Finish Act 1 and most People will need another 2-3 Weeks to Finish Act 2 after that.
Guess what. Its barely 4 Weeks after Release. So of Course only the Hardcore Players and People with Holidays have Finished Act 2 because the vast Majority of People is barely 40-50 Hours into the Game. Meaning quite a few are in Fact still in Act 1 and have not even Finished that.


But Yes I know.
You Whining and Hating Trolls cant Exist Peacefully if You cannot Spout Bullcrab and somehow try to find fault with others to Justify Your Miserable Existences.
So in 2-3 Weeks when the Number of People that Finished Act 2 starts going up.
You will Start making the same Topics again. Then with Act 3 and Finishing the Game.
Asking why so few People have Finished it.......

it took me 21 hours to reach act 2 trust me its not gonna take to much of your life. Especially in a month not like I bought the game then. You do not even need a hour a day for that.

Says 18.7% for me. Considering how big this game is and how its going to be attracting a lot of older players with full time jobs and responsibility it seems reasonable.

Then You are a Potato that either just Followed a Guide or Missed Half the Stuff to Do.
Thats Your Problem. Dont Blame others for maybe actually wanting to Play the Game and not just Rush through it with Guides so they know where everything is beforehand.

Yeah probably about right for me too, though that was skewed more towards act 1, I sped through act 2 pretty quickly missing a whole bunch of content I'm enjoying on my second playthrough. I also then spent about 60 hours on act 3 alone in that first playthrough.

Yeah, it goes up and down, no idea if its shifting due to people buying the game/achieving the goal or if its just not very accurate.
