I swear i've met more gay NPC's than straight, men constantly mentioning their husband, etc. Nothing wrong with having lgbt stuff in your game but it unironically seems like being straight in this universe is taboo or something

Because he made basic errors of fact about being gay that no one who is LGBT could make. For example, they certainly wouldn't conflate being genderfluid with 'gay stuff', even more so if they don't approve of that 'genderfluid stuff'.
